If 25% of Women Will Be Victims of
    Domestic Violence Against Women . . .
                            Then Why?

Let me explain what I call the 30-day recycle program that in my opinion is a disgrace.  If assistance is found or offered, there is only a temporary band aid used on the victim's situation.  There is no accountability required of the perpetrator of the crime.
The issue of domestic violence, abuse or family terror against women has statistics that predict that one out of four women will become victims.  We are only treating the result of the violence.
Most problems of other types are attacked to find solutions to eliminate the problem.  But with domestic violence against women our society has chosen to not attack the problem by instead just putting a band aid or giving an aspirin to ease the victim's pain.
If we start working on the cause, we will solve the problem.  As we work on the cause and things improve, so will the number of victims be decreased.  If we just keep applying the band aids, the line of victims waiting for the band aid to be applied will just continue to get longer and longer and we actually will never get to the end of the line of victims.  In fact, if we don't attack the cause, I believe the percentages will grow as more and more children are raised in homes witnessing the abuse and thus become abusers and victims themselves as adults.  Our actions are ones that refuse to protect the victim from the injury from the beginning and also contribute to the downtrodden lives of these children from these homes.
