      What About Your Children And
        Domestic Violence, Abuse or
      Family Terror Against Women?

If you have children that are being exposed to family terror, my opinion is that you have no option available to you but to remove yourself and the children from the violent environment.

You must show your children that you will not allow yourself to be treated cruelly.  You must set an example for your children, that abuse is not acceptable to deliver to a victim or to receive from an abuser.

Other reasons that you must remove yourself from the abuser is first of all if the abuse escalates, many times the physical violence involves the children being hurt as well physically.  Second, if the abuse continues and law enforcement are called and they see the police really not solve and stop the abuse in their home they will develop a lack of respect for the laws.  Without this respect for laws, breaking the law is easier for the child as they become adults.  And third that I can name for you is that they see God not coming to their rescue as the abuse continues and therefore could develop the thinking that God does not love them.  No mother wants these things to happen to her children.

It is my opinion that if this action is not taken that then the victim is also a criminal as well as the abuser for endangering the children.  We must protect our children.

This topic is addressed as well as many more in the book Family Terror.  As a victim of domestic violence it is my opinion that no book has ever addressed domestic violence in as much detail.  If you or someone you know is trapped in domestic violence, click here to order the book for information about solutions and help.
