Why
Are Victims Of Domestic Violence
So Gullible?
Females have not been prepared to protect themselves.
Training
needs to be provided by parents, schools, churches, and employers.
Young girls and women need to be constantly reinforced with
this
training to arm these females with the tools they need to avoid
domestic violence, abuse or family terror. This knowledge
would
also include training so that women would be able to recognize the
warning signs that might predict the behavior to be that of an abuser.
Armed with knowledge some abuse can be avoided by the female.
With the
increase of domestic abuse
to epidemic proportions by the multiplying with each generation, there is
an urgent need for this education. We women are only
repeating
what we have been taught for many generations. The problem is
that the adjustments have not been made for the change in the
demographics concerning the increase in the percentage of abusers in
relation to the total number of men.
It should also
be noted that the
numbers that have multiplied include female children being taught by
the example of their mother to be the victims of tomorrow.
So you see it is
more than being
gullible. We have been taught to submit to the brainwashing
of
the abuser which makes escaping abuse grim. You see, once you
are
caught in that cycle of abuse the odds of your escape are very small.
Since more and more children are raised in abusive homes each
year, this education is imperative to the solution of the program.
This topic is
addressed as well as many more in the book Family Terror.
As a victim of domestic violence, it is my opinion that no
book
has ever addressed domestic violence in as much detail. If
