Help
. . .Help . . .How
Can I Get Away
From
Domestic Violence?
If
you want to escape the torment of domestic violence you can.
Don't believe the self talk you do with yourself saying
"there is
not a way for you to get out of your situation". By making a
call to law enforcement and telling them agressively "Please send help
to take me some place safe as soon as possible for I am in fear for our
lives". An officer should come right away and take you to a shelter or
to a safe place for you to wait to be transported to a safe place.
At any time you
choose you have the
ability to be removed from your situation. You just need to
want
no more of the domestic violence and it can be over for you and your
children. You only have to decide that you want it to be over.
Understand the
adjustments you will
have to make after you have been removed will take work on your part.
If you have children there should not be any choice but to
get
away from the violence. For you to not see that your children
are
safe and away from the domestic violence makes you a criminal as well
as the man doing the violent injuries to you and possibly your
children. But everything to make things better can be started
with only a call for help.
Every problem
that you perceive as a
reason that you cannot make this call for help is not valid.
If
you adhere to these excuses that makes you an abuser of your children
as well and there is no excuse for that at all. You do not
have
an option available to you to not call and be removed from the
violence. You must make the call.
This topic is addressed as well as many more in the book Family
Terror.
As a victim of domestic violence it is my opinion that no book
has
ever addressed domestic violence in as much detail. If
you or someone you know is trapped in domestic violence, click

avenues of
