Without women knowing what the laws are that concern women's protection, there is no way that justice will be given the victims of domestic violence, abuse or family terror.

          You see, men are kicking and screaming that the laws should not be applied to the protection of women against domestic violence.  A man has always had the right to beat "HIS WOMAN, or HIS OL' LADY" and it was no one else's place to interfere they say.  Although women received fair protection under the laws in the constitution, in reality that fair protection does not exist.

          For me, being a vicitm of the Legal Game was more painful and debilitating than the physical beatings.  The realization that my government would not insist that the laws for my protection from domestic violence be binding in my situation, has caused me to lose all confidence in my country that I thought was so perfect and honorable.
         
           Seeing female lawyers even turn their back on a female victim of domestic violence was unbelieveable to me.  I know that I could never ignore what a man does to a woman with violence.  The desire for money and to be accepted by the male lawyers as one of the club is more important even to female lawyers than doing the right thing it appears.  Shame . . . Shame . . . on them and may God help them when they stand before him and explain their actions.
